BLOOMINGTON- Dan Seaway joined WJBC’s Jim Fitzpatrick and Kim Wells Friday to discuss his attempt to capture a Guinness World Record for most miles run on a treadmill in 12 hours.

Seaway says his attempt will take place on Monday at the Gold’s Gym in Bloomington from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. “The idea started  a couple of years ago.  I found it online and it’s something so crazy I’m like no I can’t do this. But the more I saw it and read about it I thought I probably could – let’s give it a shot,” Seaway said.

The current world record is 63.1 miles in 12 hours and Seaway believes he can run 78.6 miles.  He is also encouraging anyone who wants to come out and support him to think about making a donation to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
